ANJOLINA FUSELIER
VISUAL ARTIST

I have been a mixed media artist for seven years and have been specializing in oil paint for four. With influences of Francis Bacon and Hope Gangloff. I use elements of surrealism and nature to inform my decisions with color. I find shapes in the world I am attracted to and study for elements to add to my painting and which colors can be found inside others. This draws me to collage painting because I crave creating many beauties. I aspire to help those I share my pieces with and to connect with their healing, denial, and just living with the grief of another loved, hated, alive, or passed person, either not experiencing it or whatever point of it they are in. I find myself lost in my paintings, creating a subconscious place where I can feel free of the anxieties of the world.
