Asher Rey (she/they) is an interdisciplinary artist and storyteller, born and raised in southern Louisiana. She holds both a BFA and an MFA in visual art, and has been working professionally since 2018. Originally

drawn to art as a creative lifestyle, Asher’s path evolved into a professional pursuit grounded in the desire to process, recover, and heal. Her art bridges fine art and community engagement through paintings, drawings, sculptures, performances, films, and installations. She continues to build a multifaceted career that reflects her dedication to lifelong growth and connection.
