Visual artist, painter and animator Caroline Weiss

Caroline Weiss is a multimedia artist specializing in painting with a side passion in 3D computer graphics, drafting, metalwork, and graphic art. Currently studying at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she is focused on rediscovering play in her art as a means of liberation from the constraints of capitalism and systems in place that no longer work for humans. Through expressive layering and placing importance on experimental processes, she explores the tension between control and chaos, using both digital and traditional media to challenge conventional artistic and socio-economic structures
