I’m Cora McIntyre, I am 20 years old and I am a painter. I am a visual arts concentration at ULL and I am currently in my junior year. Growing up as a kid that didn’t fit into what everyone deemed as normal or pretty, affected me in ways that I didn’t realize until much later in my life. My childhood wasn’t perfect, and left me with some scars that won’t ever quite heal, but making the work that I do now expressing my thoughts and feelings helps. From how I was treated because I am simply a woman, to specific traumatic events that happened to me. My artwork handles these topics, and even topics that might be sensitive to some
