Francesca Kennedy is primarily a costume maker, illustrator, story maker, and all-around artist of many mediums. Homeschooled all her life, she is proud to have been involved in the Lafayette art community for the past 20 years having been a camp counselor at Acadiana Center for the Arts, a Festival International de Louisiane volunteer, and more recently a volunteer for the costume booth at the Halloween Art and Nature Festival at the Atelier de le Nature. Professionally, Francesca has worked as an illustrator and currently works at Deuxième Collective, a second hand art supply store. She works out of her home studio as an independent artist in Youngsville, LA, often collaborating with her mother, brother, and father.

“I strive to forge the threads of that I love into a tapestry of my monstrous, curious and whimsical imagination, to share, just as those who have inspired me to weave my own artistic world.”
