Grayson Ford

Printmaker, Visual Artist

link.png

Grayson Ford is a UL Fine Arts major with a concentration in printmaking. From an early age, they found joy in connecting to the world around them through a pencil on paper. Since then, they have attended art schools throughout middle and high school and continue to pursue the arts. They are currently on a leave of abscence on a mission for new opportunities, rejuvenation, and finding their artistic voice again. After they return to school and graduate, they intend to get a masters in Fine Arts and teach at the college level. Grayson's work encompasses a number of topics, but it frequently finds itself dominated by themes of sexuality, gender, passion, and the joy of human connection.  Through UL's print program, they have discovered a unique love for woodcuts. They were drawn specifically to the new and personal feeling of carving, as they'd only ever drawn on paper or digital before. Grayson hopes to continue their endeavors into woodcutting and discover more about their identity in the process.
