Kelly Russo was born, raised and is currently residing in Lafayette, LA. holds a Masters in Architecture from UL Lafayette and practices design as a process of discovery.
I seek to convey a contrast in time slowing, holding and accelerating through the themes of memory, nostalgia & self-exploration. I am drawn to expressing motion, ephemera, & absence of object signifying space. Somewhere, with the layering of acts upon a work, I find patterns and look for escape from those rule sets. No matter the medium, honesty is inescapably present in my pieces.
