Lee Lançon is a 20 year-old queer and disabled artist whose recent work explores capturing moments in time and narrative-based emotional experiences. Their work involves experimenting with steel, wood, plaster, fabric, and cast metals to create representational sculptural forms. They are working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Lançon aims to continue exploring different ways of conveying emotion through sculpture within academic and personal projects. Their goal is to discover ways they can place a viewer into the emotional moment their work exists in. Through their sculpture, they work towards giving an experience the viewer can sit in, and keep.
