Mia Isabel Pons
Printmaker, Visual Artist
Mia Isabel Pons is a third-year MFA candidate at Louisiana State University in Printmaking. Her ongoing work explores the body as an ephemeral vessel for memory and space. Her practice explores the intersection of printmaking, papermaking, and book arts. Pons has worked in community arts spaces and education, including time as a studio and print educator at Artspace at Untitled in Oklahoma City. Her other experience includes a press internship at Island Press in St. Louis, MO and teaching Intro to Printmaking courses at LSU.
