Preslie Such
Visual Artist, Designer
Preslie Such is an artist and designer based in Lafayette, Louisiana, whose work explores the intersection of utility, play, and intentional design. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.A. in History from Louisiana State University (2023), where she developed a strong foundation in three-dimensional design and an interest in transforming raw materials into objects with presence and personality. Her practice centers on creating functional forms - ranging from hand-thrown ceramics to thoughtfully designed apparel that invite use, connection, and self-expression.
Professionally, Preslie is committed to expanding access to the arts and cultivating community. She is the co-owner of Scrappie Studio, an art supply shop and community art space in Lafayette that supports local artists and encourages creative exploration. Alongside her studio practice, she also works as a digital marketing freelancer, helping artists, small businesses, and creative brands grow their audiences online. Across all facets of her work, Preslie aims to foster environments, and objects, built on intention, craft, and the belief that art should be both felt and lived with.
